From early June to late September, JR Hokkaido has a special direct train service to Furano from Sapporo. The whole journey takes 1.2 hours instead of 2 hours via an intermediate stop. What's more, some special train serves on the route from Furano to Biei. So I took this line to go to Naka Furano where the lavender garden is. To be cont'd.....

I bought it for the train ride. Just having too many rice bentos and this time I felt like a sandwich and a coffee.
