Maison Blue, behind Emporium, BKK

Brought many friends to the ex-restaurant (Karma Kamet the Diner) of this place.  So much memory of it.  Though it has changed its name, the deco. was almost the same.  The food and service were even better.  

 

Studio suite, Oakwood suites, Sukhumvit 24, BKK

Tried Oakwood apartment across the street years ago but it wasn't a pleasant stay.  This time the experience was on the opposite.  The room was clean and spacious.  I'd like the pantry area with a washing machine.

 

Taling Pling, Suk 34, Bangkok

The restaurant is inside the soi 34 Sukhumvit Road, close to Thong Lor BTS in about 8-10 minute walk.  Worth the walk as the restaurant is in a very nice gardening.  Food tastes even better in this ambience.

 

Library cafe, soi 24, Sukhumvit, Bangkok

There are indeed plenty of nice cafes in Bangkok.  Found this one on soi 24 and took a cozy breakfast.

Ruan Mae Lui, The Nine on Rama 9, BKK

The menu showed the Stir fried Petai & prawns.  I was curious to go in for a late lunch (2pm).  It was a bit family cooking with more sauce and petai.  The stir fried minced pork with morning glory, pineapple fried rice and the deep fried chicken were quite nice too.  All these dishes were a bit bigger than the usual Thai dish portion.  

Nine Rama 9, BKK

Every time when I passed by this mall to and from the Suvarnabhumi Airport, that told I passed 1/3rd or 2/3rd of the car ride.  These days we need to consider to go to some places not that crowded to avoid the human contact.  Why not pay a visit to this mall.  However, there aren't much expected to see in this place but it's good to get some fresh air and quiet time.

The parrot garden, the Mall Bangkapi, BKK

When I heard some bird's sound quite far away in this mall, I could easily recognise that's Parrot, and so to recall the time of my favourite parrot I adored during high school time.  Not only can the parrots mimic the sound, but also hold a strong discerning character.

The Street Ratchada but I saw Robinson, BKK

It was 18 years ago, I came here with a good friend for checking out her favourite department store Robinson.  Back then it was Robinson right here where I took this photo.  Out of the blue, I bought a pair of curtains and thought that might fit my HK apt., and it did.  I thought I'd have replaced a new one but somehow it's still in my apt.  Whenever I came to this place, I thought of my HK home.  I also think of my good friend.  She might be interested to check out Foodland and Pharmax here.  

Bento Box, Tower 5, Supalai Wellington II, Huay Kwang, BKK

The shop changed to a simpler one design.  At first, I thought they just served some fast food lunch box.    Out of curiosity, we tried their pineapple fried rice, a pad Thai and a sti fried veggie.  Those might not be very impressive, in considering the neighbouring area, this is a good choice if you feel like a fried rice or noodle.

Due de Praslin, soi 31 Sukhumvit, BKK

Visited this place every now and then.  This time I tried their mango raspberry soda.  It was very refreshing when you had quite some walk in the heat.
