East Jet from Paris Orly Airport to Nice

Took the budget airline Easyjet from Paris to Nice and tried Orly Airport this time.  In general, Orly Airport, just like CDG and Heathrow take a much longer time for all those check-in and security check; so sparing 2 hours may not be enough.  As I didn't expect the check-in and security to be very slow, I didn't have time to check out the south terminal of Orly Airport.  Just went thru' straight to the boarding gate after the security.
On board Easyjet, we chose to buy their meal set for a sandwich, chocolate or chips, with a drink at Euros 8.  Got a sun dried tomato and mozzarella cheese sandwich.  Unexpectedly good even though it's a vegetarian sandwich.

entre2rives, Vietnamese restaurant, Paris

My friend used an app to search a nearby Vietnamese restaurant.  The one is on a pretty high rating.  It reminded me of my time in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City as when I tasted their dip sauce of the spring roll (photo 2) which is quite fishy smelly and the rice roll wrap is quite tough and rough in texture (hard to chew).  The rice noodle is also quite rough in texture.  I'd say the ingredients are imported from Vietnam.  Another ironic note that I have to say I'd prefer the Vietnamese restaurants in HK and don't care if that's not called for authentic or original.

Le Roi Du Pot Au Feu, Paris

As my friend suggested trying this restaurant by reminding about the raw stew home-style cooking, I expected it to be a stew in caramelized thick sauce after long hour low heat shimmering.  It turned out it's in a boiling cooking and I hope my friend wouldn't mind me calling it as the left over from the soup.  However, if anyone knowing me for long, I'd much appreciate the left over of soup and I always enjoy it together with steamed rice.  This time I was missing a bowl of hot steamed rice.   It may be ironic for me to comment if I'd dare to say anyone could run a restaurant like this one when there is nothing about culinary technique.  So I'm half and half in commenting if this restaurant is good or not when I'd personally like the left over of soup.
As for the dessert, the shop put it in the fridge together with the meat and veggie.  Besides, it's way too sweet that I could only finish 1/3rd of the choco. mousse.  The creme brûlée was a bit too cooked at a high heat causing it with too much small bubbles and rough in texture.  I'm not sure if this is the original French home style cooking but at least these are what I found so.
I was told that the shop was with long lines in winter time when people want a hot raw stew like this.

Luxembourg Garden, Paris

Canal Saint-martin, Paris

When we watched how the tourists got robbed near those tourist attractions like Tour Effel and Arch de Triumph in day light even when the TV reporters were around (that also led to the strike of the security of those places as they were the victims too), we decided to check out some local places like this one.  This time no more Tour Eiffel, Arch de Triumph, we saw a tranquil Paris....

La Petite Cour, Saint German quarters, Paris

Went to this place for a 3 course lunch at just Euros 30 something (it can be over Euros 50 for dinner time).  Got a beef capriccio as the entree, poached dorado the main and choco tart the dessert.  My friends got beef tartare and roasted chicken.  The chef did a very nice job for the poached dorado, as it's not easy to poach a fish filet if the fish is not fresh or if the temperature control is not right.  Yet, it'd have been quite fishy smell.

Hotel Royal Saint Honore Paris

This hotel is in a prime location at Rue Saint Honore with easy access to Louvre, Opera area, Lafayette and also Saint German.  The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast when booking directly with the hotel.  The room is quite spacious (considering Paris standard) and clean.  Service is very good too.  So Euros 200 to 250 for this room isn't expensive at all.
