Drip X Cafe, Hotel Vischio by Granvia Osaka

The cafe highlighted their strawberry sweet at JPY1,800.  It might sound a bit expensive but this "tower" of selected strawberry made it much wort it.  It also told why they sold out quite early the other evening.

Dotonburi, Osaka

Frankly I don't like this place much, as it's much too crowded and noisy.  The only thing drawing my attention is the yellow colour of of this place.

美夕卯 (Mimiu) soba and udon restaurant, Takashimaya Osaka

I was a bit intrigued with the 2 x 3 round trays of soba from the display and the name of this restaurant.  When the set meal was served on the table, it was very spectacular to see 6 trays of cold soba.  It was also amazing for me to finish them all as they were all so good.  The special soba sauce and the condiments and the big set of colourful small dishes.

Nana's Green Tea, Grand Front Osaka

It's a bit interesting that those various green tea desserts I tried in Kyoto and Osaka weren't that green tea aromatic than those I tried in Hokkaido.  Even this chain branch wasn't that nice as compared to the other 2 branches I tried in Sapporo.  So don't consider the chain as either just good or bad for all the branches.  They vary quite extremely.  Another example is the Starbucks outlet in Chamonix (France) and McDonald's in Lamai beach (Samui).  These are the worst among all the branches of their groups.

North Tower, Grand Front Osaka

There are 2 tower areas of this big complex.  The north tower claims to be a "capital knowledge" with a no. of co-working spaces and labs.  On the top floor, there are various pubs and bars.

Tully's Coffee, Grand Front Osaka

Those branches of this chain cafe weren't too impressive to me in terms of the decoration and food/drink quality.  This branch was another story.

La Terrasse Cafe & dessert, Grand Front Osaka

There are more than 50 eateries in this big shopping complex.  The water and simplicity artistic culture of Kyoto could be seen in this newly developed area of Umeda north 梅田北 (Osaka station).  It was also in such a contrast of Osaka station south and the other tourist areas like Namba (難波), Dotonbori (道頓堀)/Shinsaibashi(心齋橋).  Though I'm not into fresh cream, this shop serves some ice cream and seasonal strawberries.
