Monte Carlo, Monaco.

As I walked out of the train station, I went along the main road and then down to the coast line.  I found out the scene is quite familiar.  All the high rise buildings have been built on the hillside and very packed too.  It reminds me of Mid-Level of Hong Kong as I'd notice those stereotyped luxury mansions.  The traffic was quite heavy.  I guess I wouldn't regret that I haven't been here after so many visits to Nice.  In fact, very unlikely I would come here again for a stop by.

Train station, Monte Carlo, Monaco

Finally I came here after so many times staying in Cannes and Nice, though it takes 15 min. train ride from Nice.  Apparently even the train station is more decorative and tidy than the other stations along the Cote d' Azur.

A town of Lemon, Menton, Southern France

If there is a word to describe this town.  I would call it a Lemon town.  There are shops selling lemon fragrance and products.  The colour tune of this town is also quite yellow.

The beach front, Menton, Southern France

At the eastern end of the Cote d' Azur (coast of the blue) in Southern France, this town is very tranquil but yet quite Italian ambience.  Most hotels along this beach don't have a swimming pool as the beach and clear Mediterranean water is right there.
Photo 5: this is something I told my friends from the States that each local US chain fast shops have something different on their menu.  Sometimes I'd try it, like the corn pie and taro pie of McDonald's in Thailand, KFC too as their deep fried chicken is very different - more crispy and the sweet chilli sauce.

A scenic bus ride from Nice to Menton, Southern France

This could be the cheapest but yet the most scenic bus trip I have tried.  Just only Euros 1.5 you can take for about 20-30kms from Nice to Menton (the eastern end of Southern France, at the border with Italy).  The journey time is about 1 hour something and quite some traffic in Monte Carlo (in the midway).
