North Tower, Grand Front Osaka

There are 2 tower areas of this big complex.  The north tower claims to be a "capital knowledge" with a no. of co-working spaces and labs.  On the top floor, there are various pubs and bars.

Tully's Coffee, Grand Front Osaka

Those branches of this chain cafe weren't too impressive to me in terms of the decoration and food/drink quality.  This branch was another story.

La Terrasse Cafe & dessert, Grand Front Osaka

There are more than 50 eateries in this big shopping complex.  The water and simplicity artistic culture of Kyoto could be seen in this newly developed area of Umeda north 梅田北 (Osaka station).  It was also in such a contrast of Osaka station south and the other tourist areas like Namba (難波), Dotonbori (道頓堀)/Shinsaibashi(心齋橋).  Though I'm not into fresh cream, this shop serves some ice cream and seasonal strawberries.

Subway (with Yasai-Lab), Grand Front Osaka mall

Such a gimmick of how to make their sandwich "look" and "sound" good.

Blue Train restaurant, Yarra River, Melbourne

The food isn't very surpringingly good but its generous portion and the relatively low prices made it as its restaurant theme "Melbourne soul food".  The view further made the meal taste even better.

Fomo Thai restaurant, Melbourne

Perhaps the several meals I took previously might be a bit too bad that any meal better than those could be quite impressive to me.  Yet, as when I heard the Thai accent from the waitresses, I had already had my Pad Thai in mind, and a salted fish Kailan fried rice and a grilled beef to go with.  This meal taken on the last night of the trip made up for the disappointing meals.

Old Melbourne Gaol

In the past 10 years, we have been seeing and hearing many same things - sustain, organic, slow-cook, co-working....  Even prison museum is also the trend.  Have seen many places having prisons as their highlight for visiting.  Melbourne is not alone.
