Being the only 2 passengers on a seaplane ride from Male to Dhigali resort, Raa atoll, Maldives

It is very rare that we could take the seaplane as if we were taking a private plane.  Yes, we are the only 2 passengers to the resort Dhigali.  I guess it's probably the price difference of taking a seaplane at US$550 vs. domestic flight plus boat ride at US$300.  The latter one would take an hour something for the flight and another hour for a speed boat ride.  I don't recommend taking the boat from the domestic airport Dharavandhoo airport (Baa Atoll - about 20 min. flight from Male) to the resorts in Raa Atoll, since it's way too distant and in summer season the sea can be quite rough.

Calling for MO (Mandarin Oriental)

There was a time I had a joke with my friends about how MO's service should cover, including a personal signal transmitter to spotlight to the sky with a big MO's logo fan, as if you were calling for Batman.
This time I saw this fan cloud in the sky.  Reminds me of calling for MO.

Sai Ying Pun MTR station, HK

Sai Ying Pun has been in my fond memory that I spent 3 yeas with my happy and down-to-earth classmates in a high school which was considered as outcast.  There I caught up my study from the former so-called famous school.  Out of the blue, I dropped by Sai Ying Pun again but this time it's by MTR.  So long ago, I was a student having just a few dollars in pocket to walk a long way to just take one bus line in order to save money.  There my long walk caught my teacher's notice and helped me to post some of my compositions in newspaper to earn some script fee.   There I met my English teacher who helped me so much to improve my written and spoken English.   Salute to Sir Mak and Madam Wong!

Fa Yuen Street, Mong Kok, HK

It's the fall of 2017.  Some places remain the same - lamp light on and the business goes on.

Air Canada lounge, Frankfurt Airport, Germany

Quite a no. of airlines make use of this Air Canada lounge.  Qatar is one of them.  The lounge is quite in a cozy ambience, but the food selection is quite limited.

Qatar Airway operated on LATAM A350 - Doha to Frankfurt

Got an automated email from Qatar Airways a month prior to the flights between Doha and Frankfurt with the new seating configuration 2-2-2, instead of 1-2-1 (herring fish bone seats).  The plane is still A350.  I get puzzled on this new 2-2-2 seating and even wondered if that would be the Q-suite - the new  business class of Qatar airways with 4 seats open up as a small compartment - good for the family.
Then as I took the shuttle ride to the boarding field, we got stopped at an LATAM aircraft.  Though the crew is in Qatar uniform, I had to ask them again if I boarded on a right plane.  There they gave me the answer that they rented the aircraft from LATAM.  It's quite surprising that I could fly on a LATAM aircraft in Asia.  Somehow I prefer this kind of seating rather than the Herring fish bone seats.  Qatar Airways is really remarkable with their inflight services and meals.  A crew came to me and introduced about himself and further said "I'm from South Africa".  That was quite a familiar note like I was watching Miss Universe.
