Domestic business class, Phu Quoc Island to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Airline

Taking a domestic business class with Vietnam Airline isn't a big difference of the price with economy, about 8-10% more.  The seat isn't too appealing though it's much more spacious than economy.  The lounge is much below standard.  Didn't touch those food at all.  Because of the Chinese New Year, a nostalgic snack platter box was served.

Casa Italiana, Salinda Phu Quoc

This restaurant is pretty quiet as compared to the main restaurant (which is just right next door).  The prices may be the factor.  Out of curiosity and also for some quiet time, it would be nice to give it a try.  Unfortunately, kids from the next door ran in and out of this restaurant.
The amuse bouche is a meat ball and a bean soup.  The bread is nice to go with these.  Then we ordered a tuna salad, tomato soup, prawn pasta, seabass on a mashed cauliflower potato bed.  Further on the dessert, we had a tirmaisu and a chocolate lava cake.  To me, the meal isn't that expensive, if we get the same quality in Hong Kong.  The bill is about HK$500 for this meal.

Cafe Cami, Phu Quoc Island

Took the convenience of this place (just opposite to resort Salinda) and also the cleanliness as well as being ranked at no. 5 (among the other 200 restaurants) in Phu Quoc Island, I came in for a dinner.  Strongly reminded that a mosquito repellent should be with you at all times.  Got some grilled food but not impressed at all as they were served luke warm.  The better one is the spare ribs as they deep fried this one.  Other dishes are not that appealing.  However, if I took it at the local standard, these were above average.

Happy Tet, by Salida Phu Quoc

This resort or the culture of Vietnam for the lunar new year is more than expected as reflected from this little thought of a red packet greeting.

Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam

There isn't much to see around the resort Salinda.  Or I should say it's not yet developed.  If there are more and more international resorts coming in, this scene will not be the same.
