Dinner at Cape Nihdra Hua Hin

The mains and the salad were quite nice for me to try their dessert. It's a bit risky for me to check the pear soaked in red wine.  It was a bit too sweet and the red wine wasn't aromatic enough.

Thought about trying this resort, but after this visit to their restaurant and checking the actual sight, I called off this thought.  The resort is in a very long narrow layout that it takes you to walk 7-8 minutes from the reception to the restaurant and pool area on the beach front.  The rooms were built along this long narrow corridor.  It was a bit congested.

P.S. the grab cars are quite popular in Hua Hin and it is about THB200-300 for a ride from Sheraton Hua Hin to the city centre, vs THB400 for the local car. 

Avani resort Hua Hin, Thailand

It's quite in a good location for staying at Coral Tree Villas.  Besides Devasom, Avani is another next door neighbour.  So dining isn't a problem if you don't feel like going out.

Beach front pool villa, Coral Tree Villa Hua Hin

This resort is in between Dusit Thani and Avani/Sheraton Hua Hin.  The villas are ranged from Garden Villa, Pool Villa, Sea view villla and beach front pool villa.  There is a complimentary mini bar with drinks and snacks replenished each day.  The bath tub is huge.  There is an in-house pool toy - a floating  pegasus.  Very thoughtful of the resort's management.

In between a fence

As I passed through these 2 resorts, I saw this green fence separating them.  I was thinking there are 2 of me staying at these 2 resorts respectively.  What if I could break this fence and reach the other me and the other parallel universe.  Stay where I am or move beyond.  I choose to see these 2 in between a fence.  The middle of the road.  Zero to the positive and zero to the negative.  

The outlet opposite to Sheraton Hua Hin has changed pretty much.  The big tree outside has been growing much taller.  A restaurant replaced the ex-Art House, and flocks of flamingoes flock around the dinosaurs.

Dinner at Devasom Hua Hin, Thailand

The Khao Chae in this place was unexpectedly good.  Also tried the lobster bisque, orange salad, green curry chicken, deep fried prawn cake.  On the dessert, we tried their French crepe and chocolate and rum raisin ice cream.  Quite a pleasant meal in a cozy ambience.
