Ubud, Bali, Indonesia

Some more photos to share on the Ubud trip in Bali.

1. As the whole Bali island is a formation from the volcano eruption, if the locals wanna make good use of the soil and water, they need to have their rice/veggie fields being done on a terrace by terrace. See how green it is. 2. the resort has lots of trees and green in line.

3/4. night view to the big pool.
5. the typical Balinese house entrance. 6. another typical "watcher" for the house entrance.

7. Look at this gorgeous marble bath tub - so unique, subtly outstanding. 8. I was told by the resort manager that they would put some of these 2 umbrella for certain blessing to their local guests.

Furamaxclusive SPA, Ubud, Bali, Indonesia

In booking a 3 night stay, the resort would offer a complimentary 1 hour Balinese massage at this unique spa house - spacious and stylish. Everything they used are made of natural stone or bamboo.

1. the reception desk. 2. the resting area.

3. water and green makes it very relaxing. 4. view to the green field.

5. selection of aroma oil. 6. Wouldn't it be something for you to have a view to such a green field when you are having your massage. No need to listen to the spa music. The breeze can be your music.

7. the couch next to the foot massage area. 8. Stone and water - hard and soft together.

9. water with flower petals. 10. the individual massage room.
11. the massage bed with a view to the main villa wing and the tall palm and coconut trees. 12. Different color flags represent the area.

13. walkway to the spa. 14. the entrance is just opposite to the Padi (2nd floor) and the lounge the lower floor.

Spa Villa, Furamaxlusive, Ubud, Bali, Indonesia

Spa Villa is an individual 2 storey villa with a private pool and it's more family style with a dining and a living room on the ground floor and the 2nd floor is bed room and a private balcony.

1. There are 2 massage beds on the front yard of this villa type. 2. the living room and dinning room.

3. The bath tub is in between of the 2 sinks. Deep and subtle color are widely used in Bali decor. 4. the stairs is just by the living room.

5. the bed room on 2nd floor. 6. the pool.

7. another view to the living room and dining room. 8. view to the Lagoon Villa. There are 14 villas on this 70 meter long big swimming pool. I stayed at the last 3rd room on the right hand side.

Furama Villa and Spa, Ubud, Bali, Indonesia

Before planning to stay in the Furamaxlusive Lagoon villa, this one looked quite nice but we prefer more water to more green. This Villa and spa is close to the main reception and spa buildings and was built 6 years ago. 4 years later, Furama built another one called Furamaxlusive after a rice field from the main area, which is the one I stayed.
1/2. A private swimming pool in each villa.

3/4. the room is very traditional Bali style.

5. Look at the marble floor - very classic. 6. also the marble stone of this bath tub. When we went in, we were told that the room was ready for a couple; so they made this flower petal love shape. So thoughtful.

7. bathroom view to the pool. 8. This day bed is also very classic.
9. view to the main reception/restaurant bldg.
