Quite a no. of airlines make use of this Air Canada lounge. Qatar is one of them. The lounge is quite in a cozy ambience, but the food selection is quite limited.

Qatar Airway operated on LATAM A350 - Doha to Frankfurt
Got an automated email from Qatar Airways a month prior to the flights between Doha and Frankfurt with the new seating configuration 2-2-2, instead of 1-2-1 (herring fish bone seats). The plane is still A350. I get puzzled on this new 2-2-2 seating and even wondered if that would be the Q-suite - the new business class of Qatar airways with 4 seats open up as a small compartment - good for the family.
Then as I took the shuttle ride to the boarding field, we got stopped at an LATAM aircraft. Though the crew is in Qatar uniform, I had to ask them again if I boarded on a right plane. There they gave me the answer that they rented the aircraft from LATAM. It's quite surprising that I could fly on a LATAM aircraft in Asia. Somehow I prefer this kind of seating rather than the Herring fish bone seats. Qatar Airways is really remarkable with their inflight services and meals. A crew came to me and introduced about himself and further said "I'm from South Africa". That was quite a familiar note like I was watching Miss Universe.

ICE (Inter-City Express), 1st class and private compartment, Frankfurt to Cologne, Germany
If you have a fixed travel schedule for your flight and hotel, it's advisable to book the train ticket online in advance, and also pay a few more (about 10-20%), you can get some premium seats like the below photo 3. The train ticket for single journey from Frankfurt to Cologne is about EUR25-50 per person. Journey time takes about an hour by a high speed ICE train (250-300km@hour). As I boarded on the train, I found out there are some private compartments (photo 4-6). Good for those who don't wanna sit with the others.

Zeit Shopping Mall, Frankfurt, Germany
This shopping mall reminds me of a time tunnel or the liquid metal cyborg killer T-1000 (from Terminator 2). Got intrigued to check this out and this is the success of a shopping mall calling for customers flow.

Adina apartment hotel Neue Oper, Frankfurt, Germany
This serviced apartment is in a quiet location but yet easily accessible to the city centre within 5-10 minute walk and 10 minute walk to the train station in 2 opposite directions. The room is very spacious with a living room and dining area. It's not common to have a swimming pool in the hotel (there are about 10 hotels having swimming pools in Frankfurt) as well as a gym (though not a well equipped one).
