Flying with Sri Lankan Airway

Taking Sri Lankan Airway has its pros and cons.  The pros is that you can arrive at Male Airport in day time.  The cons is the 2 stops in Colombo and BKK, though I don't mind stopping over BKK.

The lounges, Constance Moofushi Maldives

Photo 1-3 (the Male Airport lounge for departure for the resort).  The rest are the departure lounge and also good for guests to stay for late flight departure while the room is not available for late check out.  What's more, the resort has another lounge in the airport for guests who need a quick shower before their int'l flight back home.  Very thoughtful and of course, it's counted into your room cost.

The swimming pool looks a bit small in considering this is a high end resort though I don't mind it as I prefer the sea water to the pool water.

A beachfront dinner, Constance Moofushi Maldives

The resort has a dinner choice with its beachside restaurant for a 3 course meal on the AI plan.  Got a sashimi platter but it's just only tuna.  Then the other courses are risotto - quite heavily seasoned and the rice was very hard - not al-dente at all.  The better one is the lamb shank.  The beef fillet is somewhat disappointing.  The dessert wasn't tempting either.  It's good to have a "light" meal in this way.  Ended up the buffet in the main restaurant is much better.
