Visited some friends staying at a 2BR apartment in Aoke area. The unit was owned by a local designer. It purely expresses the character of the designer. It also told how much the designer has devoted himself to his walk of life.

A good start from a good breakfast, at Radisson Blu BKK
Happy to see this hotel getting much better than the last time of stay. The breakfast has improved a lot too. I also feel relieved of bringing a family to get their stay even more pleasant.

Deluxe room, Radisson Blu hotel, BKK
Tried this hotel 1.5 years ago after it was newly opened. The hotel was then not well managed. First the room was quite dusty and some bugs were found. Then the meal trolley wasn't cleaned and put in the lobby for a whole day. This time I am bringing a family to BKK, and found the hotel price a big bargain. I then gave it a try. Turned out it improved a lot. Now the room is very clean. Service is good too. Even though I still prefer its lower brand sister hotel Park Plaza soi 18, I'd give this one on a 2nd choice list.

Tim Ho Wan dim sum, T21 BKK
This legendary dim sum restaurant landed T21. The long line and the crowd really brought a good fortune to the neighbouring shops. So if you wanna try this one, better get here at 3-4pm. In taking it at a BKK standard, the dim sum pretty nice (could be very nice if the price could be lowered). After all, we have to give a applause to the owner who did a good marketing in the beginning of everything at just HK$10 to attract the customers flow to make the noise. That's how the shop got the name. The Chinese name also gave it a further remark.

Moom-Muum Park, T21 BKK
There are many nice choices for Thai food in T21. Among all, I'd choose this one though it's not the best in BKK. This time we tried the green curry with soft vermicelli, a somtam and a stir fried flat noodle. This restaurant claims to offer some local street stall food but the prices aren't, but can't complain as you can have a nice view to Asoke and the ambient sitting area.

My preferred choice - Park Plaza soi 18, BKK
Even though there have been lots of new hotels arriving at Bangkok, I still prefer staying at this hotel in terms of price, quality and location. This time I used the club clarson points to pay for just US$35 net for a room. Park Plaza often upgraded me for 2 higher category most of the time.
I'd really like the sound proof, the bed mattress, spacious drawers and the rooftop pool and gym. Not even a 5 star hotel can get all those. Most of all, the price of this hotel is just 3 star. Location is superb that you can take the subway or skytrain at the nearby Asoke intersection.

Breakfast at 27 Bites, Radisson Blu BKK
If this place didn't have some nice fresh fruits, it would be almost breaking the record of Centara Grand Mirage Pattaya. Photo 2: I was stunned when the server touched the dim sum and served it on my plate. Left it untouched of course to respect the fingerprint on these 2. Photo 3: awful hamburg steak. Photo 7: this is a very stupid design for putting the plates on the shelf. Saw an elegant western lady coming here and pick up the plates for food. After this breakfast, no need to try the other restaurants.
