Windsor Castle, Windsor, England

Didn't take too many photos on this trip.  The sun light was too bright on the buildings to make the bricks look like "hard rocks".  I'd rather hope this place in a gloomy weather.  Then indoor photo taking was not allowed.  It was pretty crowded inside and you couldn't stop but just kept on walking.  Even though there are many tourists visiting, it's very dusty inside.

Paul Edgware/Marble Arch, London

Seems like I am a QC to check every Paul branch around the world wherever possible.  A few years ago Paul branches in London didn't serve a full menu but this time they did.  So I took a full breakfast plus a coffee.  Service and coffee are good and the food is average though not too bad.

Z Hotel at Gloucester Place, London

Chose this hotel because of its convenient but quiet location a bit north of Marble Arch.  It takes 5-8 minutes to walk to Oxford Street.  The hotel is quite cozy and with a very high ceiling.  The room is very spacious too but somewhat interesting that they didn't put any chairs/desk.  Only 2 bed stands but nothing else.

B787-9, Bahrain to London

Gulf Air has launched a new business class seating for its 787-9 fleet.  This one is much more spacious but yet very private in its suite design.  To some extent, it's even bigger than some first class seats like BA.  The only issue is their slow service.  It takes 3 hours for them to complete the meal service.  So you can be hungry again by the time they serve dessert.  It may not matter much if it's a day time flight. I'd skip the meal for the night flight.

business class, BKK to Bahrain, Gulf Air A330

It was so long ago Gulf Air flew between HK and BKK that I tried their business class on the old A330.  This falcon gold business class is way too different from the older one.  From the freshly squeezed juices, nuts, salad to mains, those are of fine quality.  Unexpected is the tom yum soup.  Even though it's not yet closer to Qatar Airway, somehow I prefer seating in a straight direction.

reserva iberica signature kitchen, Ship Street, Wanchai HK

A bit unexpected this restaurant was situated on the uphill section of Ship Street, though I'm not superstitious with how spooky of this area was.  Perhaps that's also one of the reasons this kind of western cuisine could be opened here.  We had an octopus on potato confit, diamond clams and a iberico ham platter as appetizer.  We were recommended to try their seafood paella for 4 persons.  We also ordered an iberico ham pasta with caviar.  As when I had a bite of their prawns, I promptly recalled how the prawns I tried in Barcelona.  That special mediterranean sea salt flavour was so unique.  I was also glad that they didn't use the soda powder to preserve the seafood.  Though the dishes were a bit pricey, it's well worth it.  Will come back here to try their semi-buffet lunch.

Watching the street scene, at Terminal 4, Chang I Airport Singapore

That's something very creative in this terminal 4 departure hall.  There are some motion audio visual images on the middle 4 rooms of the top floor and 2nd floors.  Such a good way to show how this city was in the 60's and 70's.
