外婆家,杭洲大廈D座 - Grandma's Home, Hang Zhou D mall, China
The hotel front desk recommended me to come here for trying local Hang Zhou cuisine. All the dishes are very cheap and even a bit at a sceptic level if all those were of some quality safety problem. RMB3 (HK$4) for a Ma Po To Fu (photo 5). RMB5 for a cucumber (photo 4). RMB10 for a stir fried veggie with glass noodle. RMB48 (for a whole chicken in clay pot). RMB6 for the vinegar fish soup and RMB10 for the "stinky" To Fu. All the food were pretty nice, especially the chicken and the stir fried veggie. Anyway, this shop is very popular with the locals and not bad for a try.

洪府(洪昇)西溪濕地國家公園,杭洲 - Residence of Hung (Hung Sing), Si Xi National Park, Hang Zhou, China
It was over 400 years ago in the early Ching dynasty, 洪昇 (Hung Sing) was one of the great writers getting influenced in such a poetic and scenic place as West Lake. There he wrote many Chinese dramas like 長生殿. There was a rumour 洪昇 wrote a script draft of 紅樓夢 but somehow it got in the hand of 曹家(曹寅).
