Breakfast at 27 Bites, Radisson Blu BKK

If this place didn't have some nice fresh fruits, it would be almost breaking the record of Centara Grand Mirage Pattaya.   Photo 2: I was stunned when the server touched the dim sum and served it on my plate.  Left it untouched of course to respect the fingerprint on these 2.  Photo 3: awful hamburg steak.  Photo 7: this is a very stupid design for putting the plates on the shelf.  Saw an elegant western lady coming here and pick up the plates for food.  After this breakfast, no need to try the other restaurants.

Problems came - Radisson Blu Bangkok

The housekeeping and room service training (actually same for the gym/pool) are of much concern.  First, I found out my shoes were bing put aside on my clothes (but I put my shoes on the ground).  Second, as I was sleeping half way to go to the bath room, I found an upside down cockroach (probably from my lemongrass repellent) - then I sent it to heaven promptly instead of struggling in pain.  So the next day as I returned to the room, I saw the scenes below.  2 food trolleys stood in the corridor.  From the food being dried out, I was so sure it must have stood there for over 2-3 hours.  As I went back to the room, there I found a baby cockroach.  I had to take photos and sent them to the management and got a serious complaint.  One of the good things is that they responded promptly and explained that the hotel took a long time to be completed and so there were problems for cockroaches.  Anyway, as they offered the change to another room, it's not good to argue on that point.  Once again, if possible, better avoid staying at some new hotels less than half year.

Deluxe room, Radisson Blu Bangkok

Had waited for this hotel over the past 2 years during the time I was staying at Park Plaza soi 18 (under the same Carlson hotel group).  The room itself is ok, but too bad some problems came - to be  posted later.

Have a nice flight - HKG-BKK

I started to enjoy a champagne from CX for the boarding and with the meal.  This lunch is very nice with a seafood risotto.  On the return, I tried their seafood tomato on rice.  Not bad either.  Hagen Daz not to missed...

Elephant parade with Swire places, HK

Swire property management has coloured this summer with a big parade of elephants from many artists and kids - from big to small.  You can find all these elephants in many shopping malls or open parks managed by Swire.  Very refreshing and impressive for the us to get inspired.

Never thought that I could have taken a photo from the opposite.

Red Seasons (季季紅) Chinese restaurant, Wanchai, HK

This restaurant has been the talk of town for its renowned bbq baby big stuffed with dried shrimp rice - the stuffing is a very local home cooking but then made it in a luxury way.   It was first started with its origin in Yuen Long.  This dish is good for 8-12 persons but at this dinner we only had 4; so I had to ask my sisters to pack them (in 2 full boxes) after the meal.  However, this restaurant is only good at this dish.  All the others weren't too good and yet the service was very manipulating that they wouldn't let you put your table ware in your own way but in theirs, e.g., I tried to put my chopsticks on the plate side, but then they would put those off.

Nam Long Tea Room, Causeway Bay HK

This place wasn't impressive to me when it was still in TST, but I had some fond memory of some old friends.  As I strolled along Pennington Street, there I found this one re-opened in Causeway Bay.  Whether it's good or bad, I had to come here for a local dinner set.

The little friends at Kurumba Maldives

These tiny fishes are so friendly but frantic if you suddenly move quickly.  So be slow with them.

The facilities, Kurumba Mladives

A resort should have a resting lounge (photo 1/2/3) for the guests who can't have a late checkout due to the flight schedule, especially for resorts in Maldives.  In the centre of the island there are the basic facilities like gym, recreational area and some typical boutiques.  Can tell from the look of all those facilities this place was established in the 70's.
