Lunch buffet at the Colonade restaurant, the Sukhothai hotel, BKK
The place was very quiet during lunch. The cold dishes were all good and I didn't expect much from the hot dishes as usually it's difficult to maintain good quality for the hot dishes. In general, it's a nice lunch buffet and the plus was the free flow of coffee and tea. I was surprised with the selected quality coffee they served.

Supaninga eating room, soi 10 Sathorn, BKK
Knew about this place from the last visit at their sister restaurant E.A.T. in Central World. The original shop is in Thonglo but I wouldn't go there for a try as Thonglo is much too complicated than the old time that we could just eat and relax. Now that there are many scanners and night time places in smoking and vibrant ambience.
Happy that they have a branch in Sathorn. However, after the try, I'd prefer E.A.T. as this one is much too salty (should be as it claimed to be something local family style food)

Another Khao Chae time, at Bussaracrum BKK
The next day after I visited this shop, I passed by some other restaurants offering Khao Chae. The size is only 1/3rd, as compared to this one, but the price is 1/3rd higher (at around THB330-350). Bussaracrum's is just only THB280 and the presentation is much nicer. 2 thumbs up!

Anna & Son restaurant, BKK
Know not much about the ownership of this restaurant but the name changing from Anna's cafe to Anna & Son told it. The cafe in this new location (actually not that new but new for me to finally come here after 7-8 years) keeps a nice front yard. The interior deco. is quite ambient in light pastel color. Ordered some fried chicken wings, som tom and fried noodles. All are pretty good. So if we can be around this area, this place would be a nice choice.

Hotels of the bugs and cockroaches, Furamaxclusive Sathorn, BKK
Tried this hotel 4-5 years ago, but it wasn't that bad. This time I had to say "not anymore". Pros are: big and spacious room with 2 toilets (67 sq. m.) at just US$65 net with breakfast, 5 min. walk to Chongnonsi BTS. Cons are: lots of bugs and cockroaches found, poor sound proof, indifferent staff services - actually no service. Ended up my friend got serious bug bites. I didn't have a thorough smooth sleep - woke up every 1 to 2 hours though I didn't mean to detect anything. BTW, my other friends staying at the opposite side (Trinity hotel - now Glow) saw some fierce spirit jumping over on their beds. Better stay away this area. Yet, quite many impolite interesting scanner people here.
