The more convenient way to go to this farm is to take the temporary stop called Lavender Garden (1 stop from Naka Furano towards Biei) and it's about 20 min. walking from Naka Furano if you prefer to walk and check around the area.  This Farm is admission free.

In the summer time, the train route has a special stop in between Naka Furano and Biei, called Lavender Garden.  Noted the below on that temporary train stop (photo 10/11).  It's so nice having the summer breeze on the train ride instead of the air-conditioning of the train.

From early June to late September, JR Hokkaido has a special direct train service to Furano from Sapporo.  The whole journey takes 1.2 hours instead of 2 hours via an intermediate stop.  What's more, some special train serves on the route from Furano to Biei.  So I took this line to go to Naka Furano where the lavender garden is.  To be cont'd.....
