BA Premium Economy class, A380, from HKG-LHR.

BA (British Airway) and MH (Malaysia Airlines) have launched their new A380 services last year with a newer version.  BA even made their upper deck a bit higher so that you will more room inside the cabin.  Their new premium economy class seat is so much better than their older one.  On board, they served champagne.  Though I don't drink, it's a plus for those who drink.  The service is good in general.  Meal is also very nice (but sorry that the photo for the whole meal set was out-focused - FYI, found out my camera not working too well on board.  (*remarks: lately I learned many electronics can't go above 31,000 feet.)  BA's inflight entertainment has been improved a lot too.  I like their interactive 3D flight map.  So a 13 hour flight seemed not so long, though the flight was quite bumpy and in fact the flight from London to Nice was even worse.  The whole Europe has been in an adverse weather.  BTW, I like BA (and also CX) captain would adjust the flying at a lower altitude when the plane got into some serious turbulence.  Doing this would cost them more fuel (meaning more money).  Unlike UA, SQ and TG, they wouldn't care how the passengers feel, but rather care about their pocket.

MaiSen Tonkatsu (deep fried pork chop), Silom Complex BKK

The original shops in Japan might not wanna see how this shop was run.  I believe from the way the deep fried pork chop and chicken were cooked,  it should have been much better.  I find it a pity that the shop did a careless mistake from not having some good deep frying oil.  The pork was a bit too mashy.  Originally I guess they might be taught to punch and pinch the pork chops well, but too bad if the meat wasn't defrost in a good way, together with the punching and pinching, it would just expose the poor quality.

Groove@Central World, BKK

On the side of Rama I Road, there it came a new extension from the office building area of Central World, called Groove @ Central World.  Along the roadside, there is a very nice flower land.  Inside there was a open ground with some cute figures.  Supposed there will be a number of restaurants in this new extension.

Mondo, Hilton Sukhumvit, BKK

This place is good to get some small bites of snack or if you would like to try more variety of food from Asian to Western.  The menu also offers some full portion choices such as burger, sandwich, salad or Pad Thai.  On the dessert selection, a very nice dessert platter for sure wouldn't get you too full.  I'd like the way the iced coffee is served with milk and syrup on the side.  Service is also very good.

Four Seasons Chinese restaurant, from London to Bangkok.

Another no pain no gain experience though this time is not worthwhile.  I thought what about another Crystal Jade story that a Cantonese chef from HK going to Singapore and returning with his glorious flag.  Sorry not every story is the same.  Four Seasons even didn't bring back the spirit of Cantonese cooking - quick stir frying, slow cook stewing, experienced cutting skill....  What's more, this restaurant used some reference photos to cheat customers and it's not just a slight difference.  So running a branch is not easy and it would even give you a bounced back for your original shop.  At least I would save my time from visiting the London shop.

The gym and the pool, East Beijing, China

The gym is quite well facilitated and spacious with a large stretching and yoga area.  The pool is in a trendy design that in the night time it has some lines of light.  The steam and sauna is shared in the public area which is quite strange for both men and women to go inside.
