Bento Box, Tower 5, Supalai Wellington II, Huay Kwang, BKK

The shop changed to a simpler one design.  At first, I thought they just served some fast food lunch box.    Out of curiosity, we tried their pineapple fried rice, a pad Thai and a sti fried veggie.  Those might not be very impressive, in considering the neighbouring area, this is a good choice if you feel like a fried rice or noodle.

Doi Channg cafe, Supalai Wellington II, BKK

Quite a nice surprise to try this cafe as I didn't expect anything.  The lady recommended their sticky rice dumpling.  Though it's a bit interesting to have coffee and sticky rice dumpling, it was quite a nice "fusion" breakfast.

Artisan condo, Ratchada, BKK

When I visited the site of Supalai Wellington 2 earlier this year, the sales agent expected me to know about the name of this condo Artisan as she claimed the developer was from HK.  Recently there is a sales gallery.  I got curious to go in and find out what this condo. is.  So I googled BGY and it's Country Garden, as denoted from Bie Guay Yuen (碧桂園).  The sales agent told us the studio and 1 bedroom units were sold out, and only 2 out of 4 towers were only sold to Thai citizens.  So I asked for checking a 2 bedroom unit of 75 sq. m. at THB12 millions.  I didn't feel like taking any photos since the deco. was a bit too boring luxury type.  I was actually interested to see how the shopping mall will be.  The mall takes approximately a total area of 7,000 sq. m. with a supermarket on the ground floor.  So it's a medium size mall, good for the growing residential area of this Thiam Ruam Mit vicinity.  Apart from this there is an interesting service from this condo with extra management fee, like Airport shuttle, party hosting, tour planning.....

Bak Kuk Teh (spare rib soup), Little Hong Kong, the Street Ratchda, BKK

It's hard to find a decent Bak Kuk Teh (spare rib soup) in BKK.  Most of them are either too bland or just soy sauce seasoned.  This one is a bit closer to the Malay version, though it's a giant size for 2 persons.  One common flaw is the chilled or frozen spare ribs being used.  When cooking some dishes like this one or steamed pork/spare ribs, it's still the best to choose live cut from butcher's table.

HORECA, 4F., CW Tower, BKK

It's quite interesting to check this supplier for hotels, restaurants and cafes.  HO stands for Hotel, RE for restaurants and CA for cafes.

成都故事 (Cheng Du Story), Supalai Wellington, Huay Kwang, BKK

The name of this restaurant is a bit subtle and literal that aroused my curiosity to try it.  The prices are not expensive as compared to other Chinese eateries in BKK.  When the chilled crushed cucumber was served, there came a very nice aroma of pasley, garlic and cucumber.  The fried rice and the dumplings were freshly made.  Some fresh shrimps (with no soda powder marinating) were used in the fried rice.  I also like the way they didn't put the bitter gourd in boiling water for taking out the bitter flavour.  I often prefer the ingredients be prepared as they are, without too much marinating or pre-boiling.
