The swimming pool, East Hotel, HK

The pool looks very unique surrounded by high rise mansions, or literally called urban view.  During the Autumn and Winter time, the pool could be too cool to swim, at around 22-23 degree though its claimed to be a heated pool.

Corner Deluxe Harbour View room, East Hotel, HK

This hotel has been named as one of top 10 city hotel with superb view to the east Harbour.  The corner room is also the hot pick.  Panoramic view with buildings surrounding you.

Public, Island East, Tai Koo Place, HK

This self-serviced cafeteria is on the 37/F of Island East, serving salad, sandwich, Asian fusion food and coffee.  If you prefer a cozy meal, there is also a full service restaurant.  I chose a bibimbap and a mocha.  The bibimbap wasn't too appealing but good to have lots of veggie.  The view and coffee made up for the meal.

Fresh cut of roast turkey

My family member received a roast turkey by Cafe Landmark for Christmas season.  Over the past many years, the turkey was cut and sliced when we picked it up.  It wasn't too impressive to me as it's too dried out and not aromatic.  I found it sliced too thin.  On the last Christmas (3 weeks ago) I asked for a whole turkey and I cut and sliced it on my own.  I sliced it in half inch thick to keep the moist.  It was way too different.  If I had a big oven, next time I'd make it with my preferred stuffing that I used to make it - celery, chestnut, raisin, parsley and bread crumb.

Aburi-En, Donburi, Causeway Bay, HK

Tried their grilled pork don and gyoza.  Both were not too impressive though not bad.  Missed the aromatic grill and the rice fragrance.  It's still good for a visit if you miss some Japanese grill pork don and this place offers pretty good dining area.

Dr. Sun Yat Sen Museum, Central, HK

It's interesting that not many people visited this place.  Perhaps they found out they couldn't take photo inside (as per the house rules).  Some got politely advised of not taking any photos inside the venue but still I could see some disregard the rules.
I read a letter written by Dr. Sun and in the last paragraph, he wrote "I regard HongKong as my second home because I was educated there...".
