Shanghai Lao Lao noodle shop, Terminal 2, HKIA

There are an increasing number of various restaurants in almost every corner of the HK int'l airport, which made a journey more memorable with something nice massaging your stomach. However, the price and quality varies quite extremely, some at HK$100 or more but some at HK$30. The higher priced ones may not be as good as those at $30. Like this one, at first, I was wondering how good it can be that a bowl of noodle is at $30. It turned out it isn't the best but when the noodle is freshly made, it already gives a distinctive remark! The soup for the beef noodle I tried is a bit salty but that's the original essence of native Shanghai food, either salty or sweet. This shop is on the level 6 of terminal 2 and it's worth for a try.

$100 for a bowl of noodle is kind of costly. That is about $13 US. Even Ding Tai Fung noodle is just average at $7.5 and yet we are already "Ma Ma Sang".
No wonder my customers said they go broke after going to HK for one week.

Stella, this one is at $30. I was to refer there are some meals which are at $100. There are some expensive Japanese noodle which can be sold at more than $100, but of course when they dare to sell at such high prices.

OK. LA folks had better not say Ding Tai Fung is expensive any more.
