More about Aleenta Phang Nga, Phuket, Thailand

Supposed this resort is in Phang Nga but geographically it's even closer to Phuket Airport than Patong or Phuket town. This resort has impressed me so much in terms of services and its various suites and houses setting. They are Ocean View Loft (9 suites with a loft style for bedroom on the upper floor and lower floor for living room with direct access to a common pool of 50 meter long; pool suite with a private pool and private garden but not on the beachfront. Pool residence is like a apartment condo style and it has its own pool back behind the beachfront villas. Beachfront villas have 3 suites good for families. They also expand to have Grand Villa and I hope to explore for more.
1. view from the restaurant to Ocean View Loft.
2. Beachfront suites (3 suites with individual entrance).
3. the 2nd floor suite is with a sun-deck area and the lower floor suite is with a nice resting area, with a door-step plunge pool in the front.
4. Another suite on the beachfront.
5. the 3 suites share a very nice big living room with a kitchen - good for families.
6. see how nice the sand of this Latai beach is.
7. Another view to the north end.
8. view to the 3 bedroom suites from the beach.

9. There are about 9-10 beachfront suites.

You really know how to enjoy life. Travelling and knowing local culture, people and food is a good way to enjoy life.
What are your top ten best hotels by the way?
Your resourceful information is always a good reference to the readers, better than T&L magazine.
By the way, thank you SEA for your good recommendation on VIE hotel and Adelphi Grande Hotel. Both are good in their special unique ways. And both are a valued buy as the quality far far exceeds its room price. You are a lot better than those famous tour book.

SS, my top hotel/resort are:

1. Oriental Bangkok
2. Mandarin Oriental KL (*too bad this one is always full whenever I plan for a trip to KL.)
3. Maya Hotel KL
4. Aleenta Phang Nga
5. The Sarann, Koh Samui
6. The Gallery, Singapore
7. Mandarin Oriental Jakarta
8. Tung Hwa Hotel, Taipei (*the hotel is a business hotel but I like their services though there is no other facilities).
9. Kuta Palace Bali (*not a luxury hotel but it's the first hotel I stayed on my first trip out of Hong Kong). That's why I still remember the name of this hotel, but last time when I dropped by, it was gone.
10. Peninsula Hong Kong (*you may wonder why I stayed in this hotel. Yes, I got a free coupon almost 10 years ago.). Very smart and attentive service. The room is ultra-sound proof.

Android, thanks for the compliment. Just hope to share something with friends here. :)

Thank you SEA for your top 10 hotels.
So Oriental Chain must be really good overall since they earned 3 out of 10 in your list.

Yes, in fact, the first Oriental I tried is the one in Macau. Very nice one and they keep on renovating itself to keep pace.
