What a scene to see long lines of people carrying various buckets for water in Causeway Bay. Saw some staff from Crystal Jade, Lei Garden and the talk-of-the-town dessert shop Chong Kee 松記 (on Canal Rd).
Your post here looks like the Jade Channel news I saw here. Yes they interviewed the restaurant staffs waiting long line for the "water car" which took long time to come. So some restaurants just closed for the day. Pix: This was caused by a broken major water pipe underground so the water came out strong like flooding.
Wow impressive! Someone staying in CA for years knows much more than me on what happened in HK! I have to report some news from ABC and CBS in return as my favour. TC and Pixmation, what Stella told is so much in details. I didn't even know what the restaurant staff told to the media. Amazing Pasadena, Amazing CA, Amazing USA!
@Sea, if u ask Stella what has happened in LA, or even Pasadena, she may just return the blank paper to u; told u, her house only has paid cable TV to watch TVBS, but no free local channels .. amazing
if u ask her what is America Got Talent, she will give u a big O mouth, and ask u what is it!! :-)
You guys are so right, only my body is in LA but my mind belongs to HK (and BKK). Thanks for Jade Channel for the connection. Yes you are right, I may need you to tell me what happens in the US or LA or Pasadena and in turn I can tell you about HK news(only if they talk at Jade Channel). What a good exchange of information between east and west. You are the west and I am the east. :)
Hi TC, I really don't know the program you talked about. Never heard of it. Do you mean America the Idol? Hi SEA, No I don't have the ID. But even if I have, I don't think the $6000 shall include those oversea HK people at all. We shall not take advantage of that money when HK is no more our daily involvement any more. They shall use that part of money to benefit more needed people in HK. (BTW, the above is quoted from some local HK people interviewed by Jade Channel. They don't think oversea people with HK ID shall get that money, which I do agree.)
No problem, Stella, when LA is getting cold, we will inform you asap. Yes, pixmation, I am so sure it will boost up the economy like "throwing a brick to lure for a jade". :)
Thank you SEA for your CBS, ABC and CNN news in LA and US. Oh now is The Big Boy's Club(hosted by M.C. Jin and Fat Bob) talking about ghost again. My favorite. Bye now.

Got it. Stella, do you still keep your HK permanent ID card? I think you deserve the HK$6k more than any other overseas HK citizen.

I think it will be good for the HK economy. People will spend money while visiting HK.
