This riverside resort is pretty far away from the Saphan Takshin pier, at least 15 minute on the hotel shutter boat ride (as compared to the other hotels taking from 2 to 10 minutes). The hotel runs its shuttle boat at an interval of every 30 minutes. In taking into this consideration, it's really not convenient for travellers who prefer more downtown activities. Besides, quite many hotels have the similar facilities as this one. All these made this resort less attractive. Towards the end of this year, it's going to be handed over to Anantara at the end of this year. We will expect to see something new from Anantara in their unique resort style.

This River looks so beautiful with your camera.
Thanks.
Anantara is still owned by the Minor Group, same owner that owns the Marriott Resort (in Thailand only) and Four Seasons Bangkok .. no wonder restaurants just renovated before changing hand (actually just changing name)
so don't except any upgrade or any better management, same ppl behind it
Probably I got the impression from the other Anantara resorts that they should run this one like all the others. I noticed they closed half of the resort and might have some renovation.
First time to see Marriott Hotel from here.
First time? I think I posted about JW Marriott BKK and some others like Marriott Beiing...etc.
