Nadaman restaurant, Nagoya
There are some shops that I would very much like to go visit their place of origin. This restaurant is an example. The first half of the whole Kaiseki meal was awesome and even a bit better than the one of Sapporo's branch. The latter half was still good but just the dining ambience was spoiled by a group of business travellers with locals. So we had to rush to finish the meal. Even the waitress was kind enough to offer us more rice and soup, we were reluctant to turn it down.

An intrigue corridor, Boscolo Prague
This corridor reminds me of a scene and right over the end, there was a reverse order word "redrum" and later on a pair of twin girls standing there... (*the scene from the movie "Shining").

The window shade of A350, Qatar Airways
When Qatar Airway introduced its window shade on its A350, I was curious how it worked. So you can control the shade for a light filter or half opened or shut closely. This way your eyes would feel easy when the window shade is required to be opened during take-off or landing.

Lady Nara, Open House, Central Embassy, BKK
Though I am having less and less interest in Nara, I was curious to try this place. The environment and deco. are quite nice and just as its shop's name, suitable for the lady. However, the food was quite disappointing.

The new Rot Fai (Train) NIght Market, Ratchada, BKK
Interesting to find quite a lot of hair salons in this night market. Later on we passed by a Pad Thai stall and noticed the hot stir-frying. We expected it should be something a very aromatic stir-fry. Ended up the noodles were "die-hard" chewy. Then I further checked on the cooking hot plate. The cook put all the noodles on the sides of the plate and just put some of those with other ingredients for a quick stir-fry. Then we proceeded to try other stalls for a grilled fish and a somtam. One word - Forget it. We then went in Esplanade mall for a simple "8" noodle soup.

High tea at Park Hyatt Bangkok
Was told about the high tea of this place and got urged to try it. The savoury bites seemed to be somewhat dissatisfactory this time of my trying, but the highlight was the ice cream in valrhona choco. Unfortunately this choco. wasn't served as a single order. After all, it's nice to come here for this tea set in such an ambient environment.

A simple eating well, at Taling Pling, Siam Paragon BKK
This day I am glad that I could get a simple plain rice and 2 veggie. Over to another year, we have to think about eating simple as eating well. Likewise, travel simple as travel well. If we carry too heavy luggage, we wouldn't travel happily. So the main point for every aspect of our life is to do it simple.

Mandarin Oriental Prague
I was holding a very high expectation to come try this MO. If there wasn't a "fan" sign, I wouldn't have noticed this is a MO run hotel, and yet it's in such a historical city as Prague. As when I checked out their restaurants, those seemed not to be appealing. There came a staff leaving the restaurant and having a strong tune to urge us to go in for a try. So that's what we call a MO service.

Potrefena Husa, Prague
The hotel's front office recommended us to try this place. We got a Bohemian soup (artichoke and potato) with a half boiled egg. The portion is so big that it is good for 2 persons. Then we ordered a grilled veggie salad and a roasted chicken breast. The soup was very aromatic and silky smooth with the half boiled egg. The veggie and chicken dishes were also very nice.
On the other day, we passed by a restaurant and ended up it's another branch under the same chain. So we had something deep fried. These two branches impressed me pretty much with Czech cuisine.

Wine O'clock, old town, Prague
Got curious of why this small restaurant could be on a no. 1 ranking on tripadvisor. When we came in, the waitress gave us a very warm and welcoming smile. The menu is very simple. We got told the portion of all the dishes aren't big. So we ordered a bruschetta, baked Provolone, beef flank Tagliatta salad, roasted petit chicken for the first round. The bruschetta and baked Provolone were so good and aromatic and also getting you a high appetite. The salad and the chicken were very nice too. The waitress noticed we cleaned the plates and asked us about the food. I then asked her for a recommendation for one more dish. So she got us a crispy filo salmon. Another big surprise!
