At first I wondered why a hospital (on the left) was built next to a hotel (on the right). As I walked to the other entrance of this hospital, I found out it is specially built.... for falcons.

The Pearl Monument, Doha, Qatar
This giant pearl is used on the dollar notes of Doha. It's in the harbour front of their famous spot Souq Waqif. Pearls used to be the main industry of Qatar and the locals remind them of this culture by building this giant pearl at the corniche of the Doha harbour. Simply tells us "think of the source when we drink water".

Goodbye coffee houses, and a big thank to Copenhagen!
Love the cozy deco. of many local coffee places. Didn't take photos much since we need to respect the locals. So in taking some good chances when people left the scene or in between them, I took these photos. This place wasn't that quiet though.

Lagkagehuset (bakery), Copenhagen, Denmark
Couldn't resist not going in for a breakfast. Later on I know why this chain also has their branches in the airport. However, their coffee is somewhat disappointing.

Riz Raz restaurant, Copenhagen, Denmark
Denmark has been a very familiar name since my childhood - their chicken, cookies and pastries...etc. Tried all these but frankly their salmon is far much better and I had the best salmon from this restaurant. Originally I had a higher expectation of their chicken (photo 2). Another surprise is their pita bread (photo 3). It was so rich in flour flavour. I took this photo to record this as I thought it would be just a bread. They have an add-on buffet salad bar at just DKK55 (appro. HK$70). However, it might be too organic that some veggie is too chewy (like raw kale and broccoli) for me to digest it.
Illum department store, Copenhagen, Denmark
I am now trying to take photos of places where there are not too many people around. I often turn off all the AI or GPS features of my phone/cameras in order not to be part of the big data. Though it doesn't mean a big difference when one turned it off, I feel like doing so.
Back to this department store, I'd like their top floor dinning area but couldn't try it as it closed quite early, at around 8pm.

Hotel Skt Petri, Copenhagen, Denmark.
The hotel was a department store and converted into a hotel several years ago. Overall I'm quite impressed with the design giving you a spacious and cozy feeling.
