Tsujiri green tea shop, Singapore

This shop isn't my most preferred choice but I felt like trying this branch as I noticed it just landed Singapore.  A bit disappointed with that little ice cream and the chestnut missing.  Yet, it shouldn't be a slurpy with green tea syrup as the base.  It should be a blended green tea frappe. 

The swimming pool, Ascott Orchard Singapore

The swimming pool is a plus with this serviced apt.  I can see Mandarin Orchard (was Meritus Mandarin where the Chatter Box was) on the left.  Then you can see partial Ngee Ann City (the red brick building on the mid. right behind).  

Time passage, to Paragon Orchard, Singapore

I noticed there are quite many tunnels or passages with progressive or layering design, making you feel as if you were in a course of time and travel.

Standard room, Ascott Orchard Singapore

Chose this serviced apt. because it's new and conveniently located but yet it's a bit away from the noisy Orchard area.  It's just 3 minutes on walk to Orchard/Somerset junction to the south west.  There's a direct walkway to Paragon shopping mall to the north west.

The room was very comfy with adequate facilities - 4 bottled water a day (reminding me of Sivatel BKK), nespresso and TWG served.

In past many times of taking a meal in hotels in Singapore, I didn't find them too appealing.  Juice, coffee, bacon, fruits and veggie...   Not a single item is satisfactory.  I'd believe that's why they cut the food in such small pieces and thin slices.

Terminal 4, Chang I Airport, Singapore

Chang I Airport was once left behind to the 2nd or 5th ranking of the Best Airport in the mid '00s to early '00's.  As when they renovated the various terminals and further improved their immigration and luggage facilities, it's not difficult for them to gain back its no. 1 ranking in the recent few years.  Almost every time, I don't need to wait for over 1 minute to clear through the immigration and the luggage delivered to the belt within a few minutes.  This time as I tried their new terminal 4, finally they have separated the departure and arrival areas.  Also, this new terminal has also improved a lot for their higher ceiling and cozy ambience.  When a strong government works without too much unnecessary noise, this is what simply we call efficiency.

Artisan condo, Ratchada, BKK

When I visited the site of Supalai Wellington 2 earlier this year, the sales agent expected me to know about the name of this condo Artisan as she claimed the developer was from HK.  Recently there is a sales gallery.  I got curious to go in and find out what this condo. is.  So I googled BGY and it's Country Garden, as denoted from Bie Guay Yuen (碧桂園).  The sales agent told us the studio and 1 bedroom units were sold out, and only 2 out of 4 towers were only sold to Thai citizens.  So I asked for checking a 2 bedroom unit of 75 sq. m. at THB12 millions.  I didn't feel like taking any photos since the deco. was a bit too boring luxury type.  I was actually interested to see how the shopping mall will be.  The mall takes approximately a total area of 7,000 sq. m. with a supermarket on the ground floor.  So it's a medium size mall, good for the growing residential area of this Thiam Ruam Mit vicinity.  Apart from this there is an interesting service from this condo with extra management fee, like Airport shuttle, party hosting, tour planning.....  

The Trust Erawan, by Q House, BKK

This Q condo is right next to Aspire Erawan.  Supposed this should be on a higher grade but after checking out.  I'd still prefer Aspire, though this Q's 1 bedroom suite is a bit cheaper than Aspire at THB2.1m on a higher floor.  The included furniture isn't that appealing.  The lower ceiling is a minor too.  The pros are the swimming pool and the gym. in the middle of the compound for both the pool/river view and garden/skytrain view.
