Loy Kratong is a festival for people to put this floating flower with lamp or candle onto the river. After letting it go, the bad luck on you will also go away. This has been what I really don't agree with most religion behaviour. Why do people dislike the bad luck. What bad luck would mean actually. If throughout the whole life it's all good luck and no suffering, what would this life mean? So I wasn't eager to go to this kind of festival. Doesn't mean I like bad luck but I can't judge bad luck is all that bad. :)
