Bellagio(鹿港小鎮), Shin Kong Mall, Beijing

The newly established Shin Kong Mall on the 3rd Ring East Rd and Xi Dai Wang Rd. is a nice place for good restaurants. The top floor has this one of my most favourite restaurant in Beijing. Then they have the Crystal Jade and Ding Tai Feng (Taiwan) and Ding Ding Xeng (a famous hot pot restaurant in Beijing). So all of these restaurants are the top ones! I used to visit Bellagio on Yuen Siu Rd but that's a bit far.

1. the classic Taiwanese appetizer from seweed to beancurd. 2. the shop inside.

3. my favourite dish - Bitter gourd in salty duck egg sauce. 4. stir fried vermicelli - stir frying this one is of a very high technique. It can be either mashy or too hard. Bellagio never disappointed me with this nice one! Yet, it's not oily at all!!! What can I say.

5. Chicken rice - oh, they really kept the original cooking of Wen Cheong Chicken (the original name of Hananese chicken rice). The chicken should be first dipped in hot boiling water and then cold water and it takes turn for about an hour until the chicken is done. So it can keep the chicken juice so well and the meat is so tender! 6. stir fried chopped string beans! Delicious!

7. Beijing dumplings - nice too. 8. steam meat patty - this is a classical Taiwanese steam meat patty. Look it shouldn't be that watery but the patty is still juicy enough.

9. my most favourite Taiwanese dessert - snowy ice (peanut and black sesame). So silky and tender! 10. Papaya with milk - a nice invention from Kao Hsuing, Taiwan!

Do you mean which kind of cuisine it is? If so, it's basically Taiwanese with some other Chinese provincial cuisine.
