At the evening time, this cake shop outlet of Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok would have all the "oven-baked" items put on 50% discount. So even before discount, the cake is not that expensive considering it's a 5 star hotel bakery outlet - only THB110 to 120. That means after discount it's THB55-60. Most of all, the cakes from this cake shop are not that sweet. So the below are blueberry cheese crumble cake and black forest. Goodorf!

This place is good for Maria and me.
surprised that Grand Hyatt cakes r so good, better than Four Season and Peninsula, and some cakes even better than the Mandarin Oriental; though her Chinese outlet was sucks (now closed) and the so-famous the Dining Room buffet isn't that acceptable (10 years ago was excellent but not now anymore!)
so we shall give every restaurant a try even if her sister shops weren't that attractive

I agreed with you TC. Please mark down this place to buy cake if we don't have time to sit down here for tea time.(Don't forget I still want to go to the high tea place at this hotel. And also do the cheap and super dry clean downstairs.)

100% agreed to what TC quoted - we need to re-visit some shops or try the shops which we may think they are not good due to some past unpleasant experiences. SS, last time I tried the high tea of Tea Room by Grand Hyatt (the one we had Khao Che with Maria last year), it's still good.
OK, let us go again this time.
Look forward to it.
