1. The simplest thing is the nice thing to try. I ordered a pizza without meat. Just onion and olive but it tasted so good. This is the original pizza. Back to the basic and back to the simple.

i puzzled how come u didn't eat pizza there, the answer is, eventually u did :)
Actually due to the geographical location, quite a no. of restaurants in Nice/Cannes are quite influenced by Italian in the med. cuisine culture. There are quite many nice Italian restaurants.
well southern France is next to Italy so no doubt Nice offers a handful of good pizza and Med fares
