This is a very popular tourist place and now with lots of budget hotels but unfortunately lack some better run or more facilitated resorts except the late arrival of Zeavola. This place looks like Cheung Chau (in HK) to me with those budget home run inns.

Yes very Cheung Chau look.
This part cannot tell it is in Phuket at all.
The place has become a bit Jamaican at my recent visit. Some hippy locals are very "Bob Marley" (a reggae icon).
har lots of Bob Marley in Phi Phi, that's fun, and that adds color to the island ..
