Time to update my favourite Blue Bar of Four Seasons HK. This time and again all the cold food are really nice, especially the parma ham and imported melon. Their soup and bread are superb too. This time they serve some dim sum selection and it's quite above average and at buffet standard, it's a plus. The dessert has never been disappointing. The berries salad, lemon tart and mango pudding shouldn't be missed! The only drawback is their prime rib which I find it really so so. Anyway, I still enjoy eating all the cold food and that's why I like about Blue Bar.

However, to quite many others they would prefer some buffets with wider choices.
SS, that's what I like Blue Bar. A very boring quoting - quality over quantity. It's not in much increase. Was HK$250 (3 years ago). Now HK$285.
under management of the current GM, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok is losing its edge, now lots of my high-so friends (used to be MO fans, and some r the MO's vip) already abandon this brand; they told me for more than a year, unless for wedding events, they didn't step into the hotel anymore .. and my foreign high-so friends also stop lodging at MO-BKK, they hv better choices now!
the scene of that MO lost its restaurant space at the Emporium and the Paragon is a proof that high-so people r not given face to MO anymore ..
3 years ago, told u already, the new 'ultra capable' (??) GM will sink the MO-BKK, and the clock is ticking ..
don't worry, money wise MO-BKK will still make money, as those Chinese Mainlanders will fill the gap, sooner or later ..
Below $40US for buffet at Four Season in HK is considered cheap.
We shall continue to support MO-BKK.
