Never thought I could be closer to Africa. Really so far away from home. Middle of nowhere. So tribal out here too. Heard some ethic drum sound in the night and followed the beat my heart was missing. I was led to this intrigue place with a charcoal fire boiling something primitive. Looks like a place for Indiana Jones or Lara Croft..... Got told the food was imported from Africa, and whatever it is, I was very hungry already from smelling the BBQ aroma that I missed for so long.
Glad that my X100 is with me in such a low light situation. It is so dark out here. All the photos below are on wide open aperture F2, ISO 3,200, 1/15 to 1/8 second shutter, DR 400.

The BBQ isn't that good, but can't complain as it's so far away. To be reported later....
So this is in Maldives then.
