This city looks bigger on the horizon of this jewel Laccadive sea. On the right end, the high rise building is a newly built hospital. As I talked to the locals, they sound happier than before with the improved quality of their living in the scarce land of just islands in the sea. Pros and cons - some may say that Maldives isn't that raw as before, but imagine if you live here everyday without sufficient water and food as well as social welfares?
