Lumi, French Japanese cuisine, Pacific Place, HK

This place used to be taken by Cova for almost 2 decades, but now replaced by a Maxim's outlet called Lumi - a French Japanese cuisine restaurant.  Tried their lunch set around HK$280.  I tried their shrimp roll with mango and tomato.  The shrimp patty was a bit bland (perhaps too much frozen shrimp) and the mango was the Taiwan specie.  I prefer the Filipino mango as it's more fragrant, and to go with seafood.  I tried their stew beef pasta.  The pasta wasn't too appealing either, as it wasn't too aromatic with a fresh pasta flour.  The sauce was a bit too heavy and I believe the chef just paid too much attention to the sauce.  I skipped the dessert.  So HK$280 for this set wasn't too justified.
