Espresso Alchemy, TST, HK
This cafe is at the end of Harbour City, with a bar serving coffee and pasty and a dining room for meals. Chose the bar area on the street side. Seeing how busy of this area with cars coming in and out, I slowed down myself by taking a small bite of a pound cake and a sip of iced mocha. Forget about the hassle.

Cheung Sha, Lantau Island, HK
Haven't been here for years. This time I thought this beach is still as secluded as it was. These photos were taken right before the crowd showed up. Some set up a volley ball field. Some brought a big RC rover car. Some brought big tents with families for partying. Some brought their pets for dropping "something".

廚尊 (Project Dignity), Shanghai 618, Mongkok, Kowloon, HK
Came here to support this group for helping the underprivileged. It serves with a no. of Singaporean food. Ordered a laksa, chicken rice and kuay tiew. The price is at around HK$78 at average. It was a bit interesting to see how this kind of so-called "social" community would pay a considerably high salary to those underprivileged, as HK$78 is quite expensive for some street stall food. Furthermore, the rent is supposed to be funded by the Government.
I tried to finish the food to show my support but I couldn't. All the food we ordered were lukewarm. Yet, the rice was a bit smelly as if it was a left over. Ended up I had a stomach bloating after taking this meal. The laksa was a bit better but the kuay tiew was a bit mashy and greasy with heavy sauce. We may not judge on the cooking or food quality but at least the management should guide their staff to serve hot food as hot and decent food. The group should at least think how to attract customers to stay on to support instead of highlighting their goal "serve with dignity". Sometimes "talking" is easier than "walking". Hope this group can really think about what they serve, instead of in what manner they should have.

Ichiran ramen shop, TST, HK
Finally I could try this branch in HK. A bit disappointed with the soup base and the condiment platter (noodle at HK$98, and the platter at $68). The soup wasn't too hot and the pork a bit too chilled. No wonder it was quite empty even at 1pm on weekend.

Fortnum & Mason, K11 Musea, HK
Finally came here for checking out something I might be interested, or go into their cafe for the renowned high tea. Got some tea and jam. In general, prices are about 40-50% higher than their London shop's. Didn't try their high tea as the store's sales team wasn't too friendly, e.g. repeatedly jumped in for telling you the name of the jam you held. Yet, the menu of the high tea set wasn't too appealing though it offered unlimited offer of scones. It's also quite expensive at HK$588++ per person.

Tien Tien Chicken Rice cum Old Bazzar restaurant, Causeway Bay, HK
Passed by this shop and wondered if it's from Singapore as that one is a street stall shop in Chinatown. On a second thought, there are some becoming a restaurant though they are just a simple cafe or shop. Turned out this one is the one from the renowned Tien Tien chicken rice in Chinatown of Singapore.
The chicken was the type of "white lean meat with jelly under the skin". Ordered one braised beef brisket and tendon. It was also very nice and steamy hot.

Cafe Leitz, collaborated with Leica Store, HK
Quite surprised they serve freshly squeezed orange juice (at just HK$30) and an aromatic iced mocha (HK$42). Got some oatmeal cookies for this drizzling afternoon. Another cozy surprise in this ambience of artwork and retrospectives....

Leica Store, Causeway Bay, HK
Haven't been here for quite a while. It's always quite nice to check on some photos and get updates of camera and lens. The T-shirts on the shelf aren't expensive, at just HK$400.
