The next day after I visited this shop, I passed by some other restaurants offering Khao Chae. The size is only 1/3rd, as compared to this one, but the price is 1/3rd higher (at around THB330-350). Bussaracrum's is just only THB280 and the presentation is much nicer. 2 thumbs up!

Oh my long missed Khao Chae again.
The dishes are so pretty with big portion.
1/3 higher in price with 1/3 less in portion means it is 50% more expensive at other places if for the same portion.
Yes, quality-wise, those higher ones isn't as good as the one by Bussaracrum.
So sometimes not all expensive things are better than the cheaper ones.
We need to be a smart consumer to make our hard earned money worth.
Correct and also not something looking luxury is expensive, vice versa.
Getting something in cheaper price with good value is a talent.
Some people is the opposite, they may pay an expensive meal for lousy food.
