This ship reminded me of my younger time that my father brought my sisters and me to Sai Kung (a far away place on the north east of Kowloon) for swimming. Behind the boat is North Point. Then back far behind is a very tall building. That's One Island East and my apt. building is just next to that one.

These pictures not only reminded you of your younger days but mine too. North Point, Sai Gong, Star Ferry, what a memory. So Star Ferry is still there. How come I had the wrong impression that they closed out.
Probably it's because of the news about moving the Star Ferry pier from City Hall to the area off IFC II. That's how the so called "Group memory" took place for complaining the Gov't about moving the Pier. Interesting - no moving no memory.
