Legacy Suites, Bangkok

Legacy Suites, located at soi 29 Sukhumvit, about 10-15 minutes to Phrom Phong station. It may not be convenient, but the room itself is pretty good - note their bed is a US King size bed 7 feet wide (normally it's 6 feet wide). So for a family with a small kid, this 7 feet wide bed is good enough - and family warmth too. I stayed there in January, 2008 on their soft opening. I guess the restaurant and swimming pool should by now be ready for use.

without some hints, it would be too board - not common for a small hotel). There would be so many things for not too common. :)

let say, cuisine not common in a small hotel but very popular in Bangkok

maybe English fish and chips?

Thailand Club said...

sorry yai, no

sorry fillet-o-fish, no

another hint - food related to fillet-o-fish

in the sea said...

har.. you are telling me it's hamburger? Or chicken nuggets?

Fillet-O said...

oh, i know, it must be McDonald's since your hint is fillet-o-fish?

in the sea said...

but Macdonald's is not common for a hotel either big or small, is it? Wow, then I need to go there for a look on my next trip.

Thailand Club said...

good try, your answer is incorrect Mr. Fillet-o, sorry!

more hint - think of fish but not fast food or junk food, actually this cuisine not all about fish, it has everything, i mean everything, even fried ants, but fish is their specialty

now you guys get it right!

Yai said...

Fish (dipping fish fillet) and almost everything, so may be it is a hotpot or sabusabu restaurant?

Fillet-O said...

Oh, the Seafood Market from Suk.24 moved to Legancy Suites? So my guess is a seafood restaurant. See it is not common to have a seafood restaurant in a boutique hotel. Seafood is popular in Bangkok. It is fast food and junk food. It is about fish but also sell almost everything as well. Am I right? Do I get a free tour as prize?

Thailand Club said...

wow fillet-o, very logic guess, but totally wrong

yai, not correct but closed

today hint - yai mentioned sabusabu, try this direction : fish, very popular cuisine in Bangkok (but almost no small hotel has set up this kind of restaurant), this cuisine eat everything incl. ants, and sabusabu

is it fish ball noodle?

sorry, no one get the first prize - 2 return 'first class' tickets to London by Singapore Airlines new Airbus 380-888ER

the answer is, Japanese food, hahaha

Japanese food is very common in Bangkok, but almost no small hotel accommodates this cuisine in-house, think of Japanese food think of sashimi and sushi right, they are mostly raw fishes, Japanese eats everything, incl. fried ants, and sabusabu is a popular cuisine in Japanese food

:)
