soy bean drink with rice dumpling

All right, my favourite breakfast - hot soy bean drink with a sticky rice dumpling! I don't care about my stomach condition, and I forgot the hotel breakfast! The sticky rice dumpling was freshly made - the Chinese fried doughnut was still crispy. Some preserved pickled with dried pork moss. What a nice mixture.

Yum Yum. This is my favorite too. But in fact I cannot take that much of the sticky rice. So I cannot eat too much of the Shanghai stir fried sticky rice cake, or the similar dish. But everytime I still eat the whole "Gee Fan". I only like the salty one(with shredded pork) but not the one with sugar.

Hello, for the first time I came to Taipei, I often asked my local friends I wanted "Gee Fan (Hsie Fan in Mandarin)". So they brought me to the congee with yam. I was a bit anxious for not finding this one until there was one time I saw someone making it freshly in a soy bean drink shop, then my Taiwanese friends told me it should be called "飯團" (Fan Thuen). My favourite shop is still the Yung Heir 永和(Cantonese Wing Wo) shop in between Hsin Yee Rd and He Ping E. Rd on Fu Hsing S. Rd. My local friends brought me to the famous and the original store in Yung Heir, but as the shop becomes famous, they made all the rice rolls ready. No matter how good it is, if it's not freshly made, it's just a waste. It's an important point.
