$25 US for this buffet is cheaper considering it is at MO-BKK.

This place is a favourite for Westerners? My German friends always love having their dinner at Sala Rim Nam while watching cultural shows.
Lately I found out the blogspot having something I don't get it. I know that photo size problem and it's usually only on the left photos that can't be clicked for larger size. Like I told you the other day, I am now treating this blog posting as a hurry-up diary, without spell check and photo adjustment..etc. Too many things from work and too many things at spare time. I guess I'll check those out on my next xxx-pi-li-pa-la villa trip. :)
Stella, you are right. That's what I mean for MO to increase the price by giving a little more quality. I wrote to them for this comment too. We are not talking about an average Thai restaurant. It's a representational Thai restaurant in a legendary hotel in BKK, that made it so falling behind and in such a contrast to her fellow nice restaurants like Le Normandie which can out-win many French restaurants in France (sorry to my French friends for my bias).
Android, welcome back. Last time I noticed from your blog that you seemed to be on travel. Gotta go check your updates. It's true that Sala Rim Nam is more for tourists on the night-time cultural shows. Sitting inside for the cultural shows with a compulsory dinner set is about THB2,500++ I guess maybe THB1,500 goes to the dance artists. One more sad thing they even made China House be derivative from the classic Cantonese cuisine, despite their use of some fine food. Why I wanna try Sala Rim Nam this time is because MO HK's Clipper Lounge offered 2 stations for pad thai and tom yam by their touring chef from Sala Rim Nam. It turned out their home base won't have such a thing.

Yes, for this kind of high-end hotel, its restaurant needs to be in line with the good MO quality.
I think their guests will prefer to have a better quality food and don't mind to pay more(like $30 or $35US per person instead of $25 US).

It's funny that Peninsula's cafe (A La Carte) is pretty good but not the room and hotel. Anyway, we judged on the food. Next time if we should take into account of the cultural dance show.
BTW, one more immaculate thing about MO's air-con. It's also humidity auto-adjusted to various temperature so that you won't feel either too dry or humid. I just learned from it when I "tried" to book for their suite. :) Not so expensive for a 2 bedroom family suites at US$900. :)
Everything at MO is just right and perfect.
