Kinotoya Cafe, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan

Passed by this cafe and got attracted by their colourful desserts. The shop recommends their fruit pancake and the choco banana tart. Interesting that both are not too sweet and it's quite unusual for Japanese dessert. These 2 cakes actually reminds me of Secret Garden of BKK. I guess the trend is going to be for dessert with less sweet as opposed to the traditional heavy sweet.

Happy New Year, Sea!

Wow... All the way to Sapporo. Must be freezing there! Japanese desserts laden with fresh fruits in the middle of winter looks absolutely yummy.

Mickey, fast food style in Japan is still so popular as well as those vending machine style restaurants, almost every thing is on a self-service.

Thanks Android. Happy New Year to you too! Next time if you plan to visit BKK, please try to get the cakes from Secret Garden. There is one outlet on Sathorn (next to Fraser suites Sathorn). Their cakes are very nice. :)

My customer told me even the Shanghai style "Big Gate Crab" can get from the vending machine.

All Japanese French fusion bakery here are not sweet in LA, but still not as good as Secret Garden and the other one that TC brought me to.

I think they can do that in Japan.
