KoRyo Won, basement, Starhill mall, Kuala Lumpur

Glad that this restaurant is still here and it's been almost 10 years. The place is also very consistent. Not a single visit has disappointed me every time on my regular visit in town. Their kimchi is very nice as well as the other appetizers. I like the way (also very Korean) that they put the salt and chili paste on the side. This way you can taste the original flavour of ginseng soup. This time I ordered an ox tail soup. Very nice and aromatic. I feel pretty sleepy every time I took a real good ginseng chicken soup.

So this is a nice Korean Restaurant in KL.
I feel awake after drinking any ginseng related soup.
There is a new Korean Restaurant on Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena we discovered lately. Lunch price is ok($15 per person).

I miss the old time of Arirang of Suk 12....
SS, what about dong kuai 當歸?

Hi Sea,
I seldom take Dong Kuai as I think it is very "hot" for body, also I don't like its smell.

I see. I think it depends on how the Chinese herb is used and mixed with the others.

Yes if we know how to balance the "hot" and "cold" then any food shall be ok.
This is the "Ying Yang" theory.
