Favola, Italian restaurant, Le Meridien Khao Lak, SW Thailand

The place is next by the main swimming pool of the resort in a nice ambience.  The food in general is very salty, from salad, soup to risotto, but their tiramisu is very nice.  On checking the bill, I was advised there is no info. about the Thai Starwood EDM card (for dining benefit) and requested to sign the bill first and then when they found out the info., they would rebate the overcharged part.  This is very unprofessional.  The Starwood EDM card isn't something new.  I then suggested the waitress to check with the beachfront grill restaurant for how to read the card.  However, I was given a black face.  I insisted that I could wait.  So they spent about 20 min. for the bill but then gave me someone else's bill.  So it ended up the bill check took 30 min.  This restaurant isn't the worst in this resort.  To be continued.....

This Hotel is considered high end resort with lots of visitors and yet the service still has room for improvement. They need to learn from MO.
The restaurant is full of Caucasians.

It seems this high end resort needs to learn from MO on how to serve its guests properly.
The restaurant has good business though.

Welcome! This brand is pretty famous in Europe but somehow this one in Khao Lak is far below my expectation.
