There are several food courts I would sometimes think of back in the old days, including the old food court of Siam Centre (meaning in the late 90's, not the one prior to this newly renovated one). Tried the Pad Thai. Pretty nice that I like the way the dried tofu were pan fried to make the dish very aromatic. Unfortunately I couldn't try the som tam (papaya salad). A very rude person was there, feeling like she is on the top of the world. Sadly I was told there are a few other shops like that. We have to be cautious in this place.
