A lunch with a superb view, Nika Island Maldives

Often heard of many comments about the expensive spendings in Maldives.  However, those who commented didn't take into account the transportation cost and the rare land space of Maldives.  Yet, you have a lot of choices other than those int'l chain hotels.
I'm quite surprised with the low food costs at Nika.  It is just about US$20 for a big pizza and you can share it with 3.  A soda is just US$3.  Not bad.  However, the only problem of this beach bar is that we got some flea bites.  It's attributed to the house farm in the island.  When we consider that local house farm, I don't mind the bug issue.

Nice place with nice view here.
I like the sandy floor.
What are the nets for?

This resort has been here for over 20 years as some guests returned after its renovation last year. Supposed the net is for the guests to relax in it but this one looks a bit too loose to fall.

Oh I see.
I thought the net is to catch fish for your dinner. :)

Then we need a bigger one for catching fish.
