Over the past 10 years, there have been so many nostalgic revival, from the dying HK local tea rooms to the flooding repackaged tea rooms with the typical Chinese names 冰室, old mansions becoming hip western cafe or boutiques in the mid-west Central. The HK Gov't, of course, kept on being in the trend to revive their old buildings into civil centres. So while there are bad things about the Gov't., we should appreciate all these goodies they have done in the recent years.
This Police Married Quarters (PMQ) is the Gov't newest project on Hollywood Road near Sheung Wan. It's open for more local creative shops and encouraged the young to run their small businesses. There are quite many design and cooking studios beside boutiques and restaurants. So far it's only 2/3rd full. Expected to be more arriving. It would be quite nice to check this place out for something different and some fresher air as there are quite many green around.

The second one from bottom is very trendy.
Is Sheung Wan the wholesale place for dried seafood?
Yes, and that's a high end restaurant. From the end of Sheung Wan to the beginning of the western district is the place for ginseng, bird's net, dried seafood...etc.
Oh I see.
Thank you Sea for the note.
