Quite many hotels in Beijing have one thing in common - dusty - either it's a Regent, Marriott, or this one I have just tried are quite dusty. I got a severe respiratory infection due to the heavy dust from the window curtain. Besides, the super hot air ventilation indoor during winter is another hard time for me. So the room is just on the "look".

If even high end hotels are dusty then this city is really dusty.
I can tell from the last photo the air also dusty.
I hope only Beijing is like this not Canton or Shanghai.
So by how we know why many people keep saying to welcome friends from overseas by inviting them to dinner as "washing dust".

BTW, I just returned from the pre-CNY sale - almost everywhere. Don't know why the customers are that high but most shops are very dusty. A week of dust and a month too.
